:: New Appointment::

SMSA is pleased to welcome Mr. Raymond Cheong as our new General Manager, with effect from 3 August 2009. This is undertaken as part of our capability building and is in line with our Strategic Plan.

Raymond brings with him years of relevant experience in sports planning and operations during his previous tenure with the Singapore Sports Council as Assistant Director. During this time, Raymond was instrumental in volunteer management for the inaugural Singtel Singapore Formula One Grand Prix, recruiting, training and deploying over 800 volunteer officials for the race.

We are confident that Raymond will be an invaluable asset to SMSA in the implementation of our Strategic Plan.
